The VI International Pharmaceutical Conference titled "Quality Assurance of Medicines" is held on June 15-19 at “Tbilisi Marriott” and this is the first time the conference is hosted by Georgia. The participants of the conference are as the representatives from post-Soviet counties like: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, as well as from Italy, the Czech Republic, Denmark and etc.

The aim of the conference is to introduce to all manufacturers of pharmaceuticals the united European approach of quality in compliance with the highest international standards. Besides, the specialists of this sphere will have the opportunity to share their practical knowledge and experience that, in return, will contribute to their competence increase.

Commitments to the European standards and constant development have always been the main priorities of “Aversi-rational”. The main aim of the manufacturer is to care about the health of the people and supply them with high-quality medicines. On the basis of this fact, the representatives of “Aversi-rational” take part in various international conferences not only as listeners, but as speakers as well.  The Georgian manufacturing tries to share with its colleagues its achievements; get to know their evaluation and receive certain recommendations. Professionalism, actuality of the questions presented by “Aversi”, as well as the principles and work approaches of “Aversi-rational” have aroused great interest of the conference participants. Such vigorous activity of the company has become the basis for the conference to be held in Tbilisi this year.

The organizer of the conference is Mr. Alexander Alexandrov. He shared with us his impressions and introduced the main aims of the conference:

-“There are discussed the opportunities of proper quality monitoring of medicines and efficient medicines supply to the customers. We will also discuss certain problems that must be solved, so that the products of the companies presented at the conference to be launched at the international market and occupy corresponding place there.  We are significantly interested in supporting the sharing of knowledge and long-term experience among the specialists. 50 representatives attended the first conference, while the current conference is attended by more than 100 representatives from the sphere of pharmacy. Ukraine and Russia are represented by the biggest delegations.”

As the vice-director of “Aversi-rational” Mrs. Mariam Onanashvili pointed out, the conference held under the auspices of “Quality Assurance of Medicines” will significantly contribute to active cooperation between pharmaceutical companies:

-“The conference “Quality Assurance of Medicines” is held for the sixth time already. “Aversi-rational” has always taken active part in such events and our representatives often participated as speakers. The organizers and the participants of the conference got very interested in “Aversi-rational”. This fact has become the basis for the conference to be held in Georgia. The aim of the event is to contribute to the sharing of experience and knowledge among the leading pharmaceutical companies.”

Tatiana Nikolka who is the representative of the Russian pharmaceutical company shared with us her opinion:

-“Each year I take part in the conferences for the assurance of medicines quality.  I consider medicines to occupy particular place in our everyday life and that’s why the requirements for them must be also particular. Thus, cooperation between professionals within the framework of the conference and the discussion of actual aspects significantly contribute to the advancement and development of each company presented at the conference. Similar meetings give us the opportunity to discuss certain aspects that are actual not only for the representatives of the sphere of pharmacy, but for the customers as well. This sphere tends to develop quite fast and annually our knowledge about certain medicines tends to develop as well. For proper allocation of this knowledge, such conferences are highly necessary. We are pleased that this year the conference is held in such a wonderful city as Tbilisi. We managed to explore this fascinating city yesterday. I am visiting Tbilisi for the first time and, consequently, taking part in the conference is particularly pleasant for me. I’d like to thank the organizers of the conference and “Aversi-rational” for giving such a great opportunity.”
